Under the general supervision of the Project Director, the employee plans and carries out the successive steps and handles problems and deviations in the work assignment in accordance with instructions, policies or accepted practices.

Brief Description of Duties
The Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning division is working to develop a department focusing on Hospitality. Under the general supervision of the Project Director, the Project Coordinator will focus on hospitality programming. The position will provide the opportunity to develop and assess customer service courses which will form a foundation part of the new division. The position, administrative in nature, will assess employment needs within the hospitality field, review relevant curricula and credentials, provide data regarding the hospitality field, developing training manuals, evaluate instructor performance, as well as, identify future courses and credentials that will become part of the Hospitality department.
Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education and experience; managerial and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate with diverse cultures and skills in organizational development, strategic planning and public policy research and development.

Condition of Employment: This is a sponsored program appointment. The duration of this appointment is subject to grant fund availability.
