Duties

The University of the District of Columbia invites applications for a visiting faculty position.
                                                                                                                                            
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                                  

  • Establish annual goals and objectives which are congruent with the university’s strategic goals and the college’s strategic initiatives;
  • Work closely with the Division Chair and Division program coordinators and directors to establish and accomplish University accreditation;
  • Work closely with the assessment team to monitor data system development, and data collection, analysis, and reporting internally and to accreditation and other external agencies as well as use data for decision-making in the program;
  • Teaches full-time course load; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate (PhD)
  • At least 5 years experience teaching
  • Established record of scholarly productivity

Background Investigation: Employment with the University of the District of Columbia is contingent upon a satisfactory background investigation.  The determination of a "satisfactory background investigation" is made at the sole discretion of the University of the District of Columbia.  The University may refuse to hire a finalist, rescind an offer of employment to a finalist or review and may terminate the employment of a current employee based on the results of a background investigation.
