Closing Date: Open Until Filled The incumbent functions as the Director, Career Services in the Office of Student Achievement under the general guidance of the Dean of Student Achievement. The incumbent exercises initiative and creativity in planning and implementing strategies to broaden and deepen relationships with employers. The incumbent would review student resumes and counsel students on interview techniques and recommends employment opportunities, develops and conducts educational programming workshops and seminars including but not limited to career options, networking receptions and resume workshops, develop student placement database, prepare statistical reports on graduating seniors and career services clients securing employment, prepares annual evaluations, create strategic plan and budget, participates in fall and spring orientation sessions, and chairs the career services advisory committee.

An applicant selected for an appointment based on District residency will be required to submit no less than eight (8) proofs of bona fide District residency. Bona fide District residency must be maintained from the date of appointment to the position for seven (7) consecutive years. Failure to maintain bona fide District residency for the (7) year period will result in forfeiture of employment.
