Brief Description of Duties

 

  1. Conducts curriculum and classroom review meetings to ensure consistency of materials.
  2. Assists in the Faculty recruitment process by maintaining job postings.
  3. Oversees faculty orientation each term.
  4. Maintains an updated faculty list which includes; contact information, credentials, employment status, prior experience, and business contacts.
  5. Manages the Faculty certification process.
  6. Assists in the performance management process by visiting classes and providing feedback.
  7. Partners with pathways and curriculum developers to ensure time and effort reports and grades are submitted in a timely manner.
  8. Identifies and arranges professional development opportunities for faculty.
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree required. Master’s preferred in education or related field.
  2. Five (5) years of related experience working with faculty
  3. Three (3) years of classroom experience as teacher, instructor, or professor working with adults.

Condition of Employment:  Temporary employment is restricted to a one year appointment and employment may be ended at anytime with or without cause.

Collective Bargaining Unit (Non-Union): This position is in the collective bargaining unit.
